Founded in the 1960s, LKL Services has spent more than six decades placing skilled staff on farms across the UK. Our reputation was built one honest conversation at a time — and it still is.
LKL was founded in the 1960s by Loring, King and Loring — three dairy farmers who saw an opportunity to bring the same professionalism to farm staffing that they brought to their own land. Six decades later, we remain Britain’s leading agricultural staffing specialists for dairy and mixed farms.
Our reputation has been earned through the farms that come back to us — 20 years on average, and in many cases for longer — and the workers who settle on farms and stay there. We have worked closely with government departments, held sponsor licences where relevant, and built specialist international pipelines through regional specialists like Zoltan Peter.

1960s
Founded
Loring, King and Loring launch Britain’s first dedicated dairy relief staffing service.
1980s
UK-wide expansion
Regional-manager network established, covering England, Wales and the Scottish borders.
2006
LKL Services Ltd
The company is formally incorporated. New-generation systems brought in without losing the personal model.
2010s
Dairy Management Academy
LKL partners on skills development, supporting the next generation of UK herd managers.
2020s
International pipeline
Specialist Romanian-Hungarian regional manager added. Sponsor-licence services for farms expand.
